MARION, Ind. -- Tori Lee has committed to play women’s soccer at Indiana Wesleyan University beginning in the fall of 2008.

“Tori will have an easy transition into our team,” said IWU head coach Dr. John Bratcher. “She is very quick, very intelligent player who fits the ideals of our team and our school.”

The Yorkville, Illinois native has a diversified background leading up to Indiana Wesleyan. Lee has played for club teams in Michigan and Illinois while also participating on boys teams. In addition, Lee played for People to People Sports Ambassador, which is an American women’s soccer team who played world friendlies in England and Holland.

Lee competed on the championship team in the USL-SYL national tournament. She also won the U-16 US Club Reg. II and U-17 US Club Reg. D tournaments.

Lee also excelled in track. She holds the school record at Yorkville High School in the triple jump.

For the Wildcats, Lee will be an outside midfielder and forward.

Indiana Wesleyan completed the 2007 season with a 21-2-1 record en route to capturing the program’s fourth NCCAA national championship.
