The Wildcats (22-5, 8-5) could not get in a rhythm all night as they fell behind by 13 points at halftime. The Pilots’ lead reached as high as 30 points in the second half.
IWU shot a dismal 3-for-11 from behind the three-point line for the game.
The Wildcats were led by seniors Lisa Thompson and Brooke Amstutz, the only IWU starters in double-figures. Thompson had a team-high 21 points and Amstutz added 13 points.
The only other Wildcat in double-figures was freshman Elaine Hessel with 10 points.
IWU comes back home to Luckey Arena for their next game Saturday, February 16, against MCC opponent Huntington University at 1 p.m.
