MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University men’s soccer coach Mark Castro announced the signing of four student-athletes to national letters of intent to continue their academic and soccer careers, beginning in the fall of 2008.

The four players are Ross Tanzer from Orland Park, Illinois, Josh McKinley from Wheaton, Illinois, David Enger from Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jesse Bassett from Moses Lake, Washington.

“I am extremely pleased with the acquisition of all four young men,” said Castro, who has led the Wildcats to consecutive Mid-Central College Conference championships.

“Winners! They know what it takes to win. Our ’07 recruiting class was large in terms of numbers so we were more selective in our ’08 class by signing only a number of stellar players. All four are impact players who played for championship youth programs. They will be challenging for playing time and starting positions during the first week of preseason. I am excited to begin working with each of them to continue their development.”
