MARION, Ind. – The Indiana Wesleyan University women’s basketball team received an at-large selection for the NAIA Division II National Tournament, according to the NAIA.

The Wildcats received one of nine at-large bids due to their No. 11 rating in the final national poll.

Indiana Wesleyan is 28-5 this season and lost 50-45 in the Mid-Central College Conference tournament championship on Monday. The bid is the fifth in Indiana Wesleyan program history and the fifth consecutive trip to the national tournament.

Last season, Indiana Wesleyan completed a perfect 38-0 season en route to capturing the NAIA Division II national championship.

The tournament will be held at the Tyson Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa on March 12-18.

Official tournament brackets will be released by 6 p.m. later today.
