GREENFIELD, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis team gained a 6-3 victory over St. Mary’s (Ind.) College on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 1-doulbes team of senior Brittany Raymond and senior Kristi Haddad seized an 8-4 win while the No. 3-doubles tandem of sophomore Courtney Kooyers and junior Laura Helm pulled out an 8-6 win.

Indiana Wesleyan dropped No. 1 and No. 2 singles, but rallied to win the final four matches in singles play as Raymond won 7-5, 3-6, 6-3; Massey was victorious 6-3, 6-2; Haddad cruised 6-2, 6-2; freshman Caitlin McGuire earned a 6-3, 6-3 win.

The Wildcats improve to 15-1 this year and 2-1 during the spring campaign.

Indiana Wesleyan returns to action at 4 p.m. against NCAA Division I opponent Valparaiso (Ind.) University on Wednesday, March 19 in Valparaiso, Indiana.
