MARION, Ind. -- Erin Moeller has signed a NAIA letter of intent to continue her softball career at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Moeller was an integral piece for Indianapolis Lutheran High School as a right fielder and left handed pitcher during their run to capture the Indiana Class A state championship in 2007.

“We are very excited to be bringing in a left handed pitcher to the Indiana Wesleyan softball team,” IWU head coach Sue Bowman said. “Erin comes from a high caliber program that is well know for its athletics. She is the type of player that we want to be a part of our program.”

During her junior season in 2007, Moeller hit .322 while accumulating a .462 on-base percentage. She collected six doubles and knocked in 16 runs. As a pitcher for Lutheran, Moeller went 4-0 with a 1.21 earned run average.

At Indiana Wesleyan, Moeller will play first base and pitch.
