POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan University plays No. 6 Tabor (Kan.) on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET with a berth to the national semifinals on the line in Point Lookout, Missouri.

This marks the eighth national quarterfinal appearance for the Wildcats, all since the 2007 season. IWU has reached this level in each of the last four years.

Indiana Wesleyan earned a 100-87 victory over No. 8 Corban (Ore.) in the First Round on Thursday and survived No. 4 Northwestern (Iowa) 77-75 in the Round of 16 on Friday. IWU is 28-7 on the season.

Tabor has made a Cinderella run through the first two rounds of the tournament. The No. 23-ranked team in the last national poll has taken down No. 3 Davenport (Mich.) 78-70 and No. 2 Robert Morris (Ill.) 88-82 to reach the national quarterfinals. Both wins are over top-10 ranked teams.

The Bluejays reached Point Lookout by winning the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship. They are currently 25-9 this season.

Lance Carter leads Tabor in most categories with 19.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. Carter is joined by Julian Winton with 18.6 points and a team-leading 50 3-pointers plus Davaghndre Jones with 12.4 points while shooting 63.8-percent from the field which ranks seventh in the country.

Tabor is not ranked in the top-10 in any team category but is in the top-20 in Field Goal Percentage (.486), Total Assists (549), Total Steals (248), and 3-Point FG Defense (.329).

The game will be broadcast live in Marion and Grant County on WIWU TV-51. It will be on channel 51 over the air and on channel 23 on Spectrum cable.
