CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Indiana Wesleyan University slipped by Cedarville (Ohio) University 5-4 on Friday night in Cedarville, Ohio.

IWU draws even on the season with a 6-6 record as Cedarville falls to 3-3.

The Wildcats earned two of three points in doubles action. The No. 2-tandem of freshmen Micah May and Matt Pederson won 8-3 while the No. 3-duo of senior Drew Dawkins and freshman Austin Longberg captured an 8-4 victory.

The two teams split singles action as Indiana Wesleyan grabbed the 5-4 win.

No. 1 player Pederson won 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 and Ben Bischoff earned the point in No. 2-doubles behind a 7-6, 2-6, 10-8 victory. Dawkins earned the win in No. 4 action with a 7-6, 6-3 victory.

Indiana Wesleyan returns to the court at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 as the Wildcats travel to Ohio Dominican University.
