Men's Basketball - Fri, Apr. 21, 2017

MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University men’s basketball program and head coach Greg Tonagel have announced their summer camp dates. Competitive activities, fundamentals, and an exciting “I am Third” culture define the events.

“We are excited about what is coming this summer for IWU Basketball Camps,” said Tonagel. “Our summer camps are about encouraging, motivating, and teaching young people to become the best they can be, both on and off the court.”

Two camps will run on June 5-8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The annual Basketball Academy is for ages 8-14 while the Mini Fun and Skills camp is set for ages 5-7.

The Advanced Shooting camp is on July 17-19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a discount available to any camper who registers for both the Basketball Academy and the Advanced Shooting camps.

Indiana Wesleyan hosts the High School Shootouts on June 3 and June 10. Each Shootout features over 50 varsity and junior varsity programs from throughout the state of Indiana.

Rounding out the month on June 30-July 2 will be the Super Hoops Team Camp. Over 800 high school athletes from across the state will be competing with their teams on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan.

The final camp of the summer will be the Prospect Camp for high school athletes on August 26 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
