
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Senior Drew Dawkins won 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 in the final match of the day to give Indiana Wesleyan University a 5-4 win over host Ohio Dominican University in men's tennis action.
The Wildcats earned three additional points in singles play as freshman Matt Pedersen (4-6, 6-4, 6-3), sophomore Carson VanDenBossche (6-2, 6-2) and freshman Micah May (7-6, 6-3) were all victorious.
Indiana Wesleyan won one out of three doubles matches on the afternoon. The tandem of freshman Austin Longberg and Dawkins prevailed 8-5.
The victory boosts the Wildcats' record to 7-6 this year. For the spring season, IWU is 2-1.
Indiana Wesleyan returns to the courts on Friday, April 11 as the Wildcats host the Doc Richards Memorial Tournament.
