MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University had four student-athletes named to the All-Mid-Central College Conference Team which was announced on Thursday afternoon at the conclusion of the MCC Tournament.

Highlighting the list were senior right fielder Christi Church and junior shortstop Morgan Wheeler. They were each named to the First Team in addition to the MCC All-Academic Team for their work in the classroom.

On the field during the regular season, Church led the Wildcats with a .464 batting average, eight home runs and 43 runs batted in. She tallied a .508 on-base percentage and an .800 slugging percentage.

Wheeler led Indiana Wesleyan with 15 doubles and 31 runs scored. She clubbed three homers en route to a .421 average. Wheeler earned a .492 on-base percentage and a .649 slugging percentage.

Senior second baseman Jeni Stansell and sophomore catcher Christy Gibson earned MCC Honorable Mention accolades.

Stansell finished the season with a .293 average, 22 runs and eight doubles. Gibson added a .253 average with 16 RBIs.

Indiana Wesleyan finished the season with a 20-19 record.
