MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University senior right fielder has been named to the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Team for her outstanding play during the 2008 softball season.

The honor is the first in program history.

The Angola, Indiana native led the Wildcat attack as she hit .464 with eight home runs and 43 runs batted in. Church ranked in the NAIA top-10 in five offensive categories.

Church has already been tabbed to the NAIA All-Region VIII team and NAIA All-American Honorable Mention. Church finished her career at Indiana Wesleyan with a .387 average, 19 home runs and 128 RBIs.

Indiana Wesleyan completed the 2008 season with a 20-19 record.
