MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University golf has signed Granger Christian High School graduate Trey Rohrman to play for the Wildcats during the 2008-09 school year.
Indiana Wesleyan golf coach Steve Evans believes the Granger, Indiana native is a raw talent with a passion for the game.
"He has played several golf tournaments on the Midwest Fidra Collegiate tour this summer that has helped to prepare him for college golf," said Evans."He is a long ball hitter with a good short game, a combination that is hard to beat in college. But Trey is an even better young man and a certain mission fit to our program and university."
Indiana Wesleyan is the defending Mid-Central College Conference champion and opens their season on September 5-6 as the Wildcats host the IWU Fall Invitational at Meshingomesia Country Club.
