MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University baseball has inked Tyler Bokinsky to a NAIA scholarship for the 2009 season.
Bokinsky is from Marion and is a 2007 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He joins the Wildcats following a season at Cisco Junior College in Cisco, Texas.
The catcher was an All-State member in 2006 and a two-time All-Conference and All-County selection.
Indiana Wesleyan completed the 2008 season with a 32-24 record and finished second at the NCCAA World Series.
