MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University women's cross country team was slotted No. 14 in the first NAIA Top-25 poll released on Tuesday, according to the NAIA.
The Wildcats tallied 290 points from the 18 national raters. Cedarville (Ohio) University is atop the poll 493 points and 13 of 18 first place votes.
Indiana Wesleyan is the top Mid-Central College Conference team in the poll. Bethel (Ind.) College is the only other conference member in the rankings at No. 17 with 243 points.
Indiana Wesleyan does not run its first race until September 20, when the Wildcats compete in the Midwest Collegiate Invitational being held in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
