
BURKESVILLE, Ky. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University golf team is currently sixth at the Mid-South Conference Fall Invitational at Dale Hollow Lake State Park in Burkesville, Kentucky.
Wildcat junior Austin Conroy is tied atop the individual leader board with a three under par 69 (33-36).
Host Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College leads the invitational with a team score of 292 while University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) and Cumberland (Tenn.) University are tied for second, one stroke behind. Campbellsville (Ky.) University is fourth at 294 and Georgetown (Ky.) College is fifth at 298. Indiana Wesleyan is sixth with a 306.
IWU sophomore Adlai Deisler, playing as an individual, is tied for sixth with an even par 72 (37-35).
Freshman Grant Slater is second on the team, and 24th overall, with a score of 77 (41-36) and junior Joe Madda is 33rd with a tally of 79 (40-39). Sophomore Kyle Martin rounds out the Wildcat scoring with an 81 (38-43), placing him 40th in the invitational.
The final round is set for 7:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday, September 16.
