MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University women's soccer team dropped nine spots in the latest NAIA Top-25 Poll despite not playing a match since September 9.
The Wildcats fell to No. 25 in the second poll of the year with 135 points. IWU is 3-1-0 on the season but had two road matches in the last week canceled due to weather related issues.
Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College retained their spot at the top of the poll with 609 points. Martin Methodist is 4-0-0 this season and captured 14 of the 22 first place votes.
Indiana Wesleyan returns to the pitch at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, as the Wildcats host Saint Xavier (Ill.) University.
