
PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University golf team is sitting third of 14 teams after the first round of the Bethel College Classic at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana.
Cedarville (Ohio) University leads the tournament with a first round score of 293. Huntington (Ind.) University is next with 304 while Indiana Wesleyan follows close behind with a team score of 306.
Junior Joe Madda and sophomore Adlai Deisler led the Wildcats with a first day tally of 74 a piece. Junior Austin Conroy followed with a 78 while sophomore Kyle Martin tallied an 80. Freshman Grant Slater shot an 81 and freshman Trey Rohrman, playing as an individual, shot a one day score of 78.
Indiana Wesleyan returns to the links at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, as the Wildcats play in the last group of the day at the Bethel College Classic.
