MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University cross county senior Josh Foss was named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Mid-Central College Conference Championship this past weekend.

The honor is the first this season for Foss and the second this season for the IWU men's cross country team.

Foss led No. 21-ranked Indiana Wesleyan to a second place finish at the MCC Championships over the weekend in Jackson, Michigan. The Wildcats finished second to No. 8-ranked Huntington (Ind.) University.

The Marion, Indiana native earned a third place individual finish on the 8,000-meter course with a finishing time of 25:15.

Indiana Wesleyan returns to action on Saturday, November 15, as the Wildcats compete in the NCCAA National Championship in Cedarville, Ohio.
