MARION, Ind. (results) -- Senior Josh Foss and freshman Eric Brown each broke Indiana Wesleyan University indoor track and field records on Saturday at the IWU Classic.

Foss and junior Dan Carrick both shattered the program record in the 600-meter run, previously held by David Slabaugh of 1:26.90 in 2007. Foss now holds the record with a time of 1:23.42 as Carrick crossed the line at 1:23.86.

Brown captured the indoor 400-meter record in his first collegiate meet. He raced to a new record of 51.08 seconds with the previous record of 51.50 seconds being held by Joshua Piquard in 1995.

Individual winners for Indiana Wesleyan women were Katelin Morgan (5.20 meters) in the long jump, Tori Lee (10.32 meters) in the triple jump,

For the men, the lone individual winner was Duran Brown (7.03 seconds) in the 60-meter dash.

The event was a non-scoring meet.

Indiana Wesleyan will host another meet next week, the IWU Invitational, at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 31 in the Indoor Sports Complex.
