Sue Bowman
Head Coach
Sue Bowman begins her twenty-second year as the head coach of the Indiana Wesleyan University softball team. The Wildcats placed fourth in the MCC in 2008 and finished with a 20-19 record.
 
Bowman started the softball program in 1988 and has compiled a 498-347-1 record.
During her twenty-one years of coaching, Coach Bowman has been named MCC Coach of the Year, NAIA Region VIII Coach of the Year and NCCAA Midwest Region Coach. Coach Bowman has also coached Field Hockey, Basketball and Track and Field while at Indiana Wesleyan.

Bowman earned a B.A. degree in Physical Education with a English minor from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. She also has Master + 30 in Physical Education from Ball State University.

In 1996, Bowman took her softball team on a mission trip to Guatemala and El Salvaldor. Since then, the Wildcats have traveled to the Yucatan Peninsula, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The next trip will be to the Dominican Republic in 2010.
 
Bowman currently serves on the board of the American Red Cross and YMCA and has also served on the boards of the Indiana Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. She is a member of the NFCA, AAHPERD, and the IAHPERD.

Bowman enjoy traveling , reading, playing tennis and being at the ocean in the sun.
