IWU's Home Golf Course
Indiana Wesleyan hosts a two-day invitational in the Spring and Fall at our home golf course, Meshingomesia Country Club, the only private golf club in Marion. It is the home of PGA professional Jim Gallagher, Jr., Jeff Gallagher, and LPGA professional Jackie Gallagher-Smith. Meshingomesia has previously served as host of the Indiana State Open, National Christian College National Championships and many other Indiana junior high events and high school Sectional and Regional tournaments.
The tournaments hosted by IWU in the Spring and the Fall typically draws some of the top NAIA teams from across the Midwest. A particular highlight in the Wildcat schedule is the NAIA CLASSIC hosted by IWU and held at the Brickyard Crossing GC, home of the Indianapolis 500 race, each April. This "Invitation Only" field boasts 15 of the top 30 NAIA teams from across the country each year.
