The Indiana Wesleyan University women's tennis team had another outstanding year by compiling a final record of 23-3 and a NAIA national ranking of No. 16.
The Wildcats won the Mid-Central College Conference regular season with a perfect 8-0 record and also won the conference tournament by scoring 25 out of a possible 27 points.
Indiana Wesleyan was a semifinalist in the National Christian College Athletic Association national tournament lost in the first round of the NAIA National Championships.
Two big wins for the Wildcats were over NCAA Division I opponents IUPUI and Valparaiso University.
Since the women's tennis program was restarted in 1991, the overall record is 315-31 with 17 consecutive MCC championships and 12 straight trips to the NAIA National Championships. The consecutive winning streak during the fall regular season now stands at 171 dating back to 1995.
