2010-11 Season Summary

The Indiana Wesleyan University women's tennis team had another outstanding year by compiling a final record of 24-4 and a NAIA national ranking of No. 17.

The Wildcats won the Mid-Central College Conference regular season with a perfect 8-0 record and also won the MCC Tournament.

Indiana Wesleyan was a semifinalist in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament and won in the First Round of the NAIA National Tournament before losing to No. 2-ranked Embry-Riddle Aeronautical (Fla.) University.

Three big wins for the Wildcats were over NCAA Division I opponents IUPUI and Valparaiso and NCAA Division II opponent Southern Indiana.

Since the women's tennis program was restarted in 1991, the overall record is 360-39 with 19 consecutive MCC Championships and 14 straight trips to the NAIA National Tournament. IWU is one of only four NAIA women's tennis teams to qualify all 12 years since the format of team against team was started at the NAIA National Tournament.
