Indiana Wesleyan stretched their consecutive win streak during the fall regular season to 159 matches, dating back to 1995. The overall record for IWU is now 280-24 since the women’s tennis program was restarted in 1991.
The Wildcats also won the MCC Tournament and placed a record five players on the All-Conference team. Julia Hedgebeth, Eva Delk, Brittany Raymond, Lisa Massey and Kristi Haddad were all selected to the All-MCC Team while Terry Porter was named Coach of the Year.
Delk and Laura Helm were runner-up in doubles at the ITA Midwest Regional Tournament and in the ITA National Tournament in Mobile, Alabama.
Courtney Kooyers was the only Wildcat to win two medals the conference tournament, winning her singles division and teaming with Sarah Bauss to win her doubles division.
IWU will play a spring season in order to get ready for the NAIA Region VIII Tournament, the NCCAA National Tournament and the NAIA National Tournament.
