Kelli Ziegler will continue her volleyball career at Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall of 2008.

Ziegler is a five foot 11inch setter from Lincoln, Nebraska. She attended Lincoln Lutheran High School before attending Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska for two years.

"Kelli attended a top level NAIA University where she demonstrated her potential, not only as a leading setter in her conference, but also as a fierce hitter on the right-side," said IWU head coach Candace Moats.

At Concordia, Ziegler was honored as a member of the All-GPAC (Great Plains Athletic Conference) Second Team her freshman season and First Team this past season. She was also named to the Omaha World Herald All-Nebraska College Team and was the GPAC and NAIA Region III Setter of the Week.

"Kelli knows what it takes to win," said Moats. "She was an impact player and contributor that helped her high school get to the state championship match in two consecutive seasons."

Ziegler's success at the high school level is highlighted by her team claiming the 2004 Class C1 State Volleyball championship and the 2005 runner-up. During those seasons, Ziegler was named to the All-State team.

"Kelli brings great heart and competitiveness to our program. I am excited to begin working with her and to continue to help her be a program changer at IWU."
