Indiana Wesleyan University golf has signed Granger Christian High School graduate Trey Rohrman to play for the Wildcats during the 2008-09 school year.
Indiana Wesleyan golf coach Steve Evans believes the Granger, Indiana native is a raw talent with a passion for the game.
"He has played several golf tournaments on the Midwest Fidra Collegiate tour this summer that has helped to prepare him for college golf," said Evans. "He is a long ball hitter with a good short game, a combination that is hard to beat in college. But Trey is an even better young man and a certain mission fit to our program and university."
Indiana Wesleyan is the defending Mid-Central College Conference champion and opens their season on September 5-6 as the Wildcats host the IWU Fall Invitational at Meshingomesia Country Club.
