MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University women’s soccer team has announced that Kristin Perrine will play for the Wildcats beginning in the fall of 2008.

Perrine is a versatile player who is able to play anywhere on the field. She was a defender during her senior season at Wheaton North in Wheaton, Illinois. Perrine tallied four goals and assisted on two others this season as her team won the regional championship.

Perrine also played tennis at Wheaton North where she was named All-Conference this season.

In addition to excellence on the field, Perrine also shines in the classroom. She was named Academic All-Conference as well as a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Math Honor Society.

“We are very excited about Kristin coming to Indiana Wesleyan,” said IWU head coach Dr. John Bratcher. “She is an excellent student as well as a versatile player. Kristin will fit in nicely here at Indiana Wesleyan.”

The Wildcats finished the 2007 season with a 21-2-1 record as Indiana Wesleyan captured the NCCAA national championship.
