MARION, Ind. -- Suzy Miesse will play for the Indiana Wesleyan University women’s soccer team in the fall of 2008.
Miesse holds the Troy Christian High School records for goals (25) and assists (34) in a season. She was named to the All-Metro Buckeye Conference First Team for all four years of high school in addition to being named the conference Player of the Year during her junior and senior season.
“Suzy is a great attacking player and fills a need that we really needed up top,” said head coach Dr. John Bratcher. “She is an explosive player who has great vision of the field. Suzy is smart, on and off the field, and will really help improve our team.”
The Springfield, Ohio native was selected captain for her team for two years and twice as the Offensive Player of the Year.
Last season, Indiana Wesleyan finished 21-2-1 en route to capturing the NCCAA National Championship.
