The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team and head coach Candace Moats are pleased to announce the addition of Jordan Sudzina to the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcat roster. The 5-6 defensive specialist resides in Greenwood, Indiana and will graduate this spring from Roncalli High School.

Sudzina comes from a long history of winning volleyball programs. Throughout all four years of Suzina's career, Roncalli High School was a top contender in Indiana, winning it all in 2006. On Jordan's Circle City Club, she was the libero as her team won the Junior Olympics.

Sudzina joined the varsity squad at Roncalli her sophomore year as a libero and achieved varsity letter honors her remaining three years on the team while serving as co-captain her senior year. She ended her 2008 season with 294 digs and 21 service aces for the Rebels. Sudzina was one of 50 Indiana high school athletes invited to participate in the All-Star tryouts this year.

"Jordan will add a high level of skill, quickness, and passion on defense," says Moats. "She understands what it takes to be great through many years of excellent coaching through her high school and Circle City club programs. I look forward to training her and watching as her potential continues to grow."

Outside of athletics, Sudzina has earned a position on the Academic honors program and has been on the honor roll every semester. She has been involved in the Spanish Club and has used her Spanish in many different ways. She also enjoys serving and helping feed the poor at many different venues, specifically, St. Vincent de Paul and Lord's Pantry in Indianapolis.
