The Indiana Wesleyan University baseball team has signed Maine South High School standout Peter Engle to a NAIA national letter of intent to continue his baseball career with the Wildcats in 2010.
Engle is a six foot three inch outfielder and right handed pitcher from Park Ridge, Illinois. He was part of the 2008 4A regional championship team at Maine South.
"We are thrilled Peter has chosen to attend IWU next fall. Peter fits the type of student-athlete that we are looking to have in our program. He is very athletic and can fill various roles for our team. He has also excelled in the classroom and comes from a very solid family."
