JC Kellis will continue his baseball career next season at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Kellis has played center field, second base and pitched during his high school career at Monroe High School in Monroe, Ohio.
He hit .376 during his junior season in high school and stole 15 bases in 17 attempts. The current senior hit eight doubles, three triples and one home run. On the mound, Kellis was 3-2 with one save as he compiled a 3.85 earned run average in 22 innings pitched.
Kellis was named All-League First Team in addition to being honored as All-Area and All-District. He was named Team Defensive Most Valuable Player at Monroe.
Indiana Wesleyan is currently 9-17 this season and plays at home on Tuesday, March 24 against Marian (Ind.) College.
