Indiana Wesleyan University has signed Sam Lewis to a NAIA baseball letter of intent for the 2009-10 season.

Lewis is a six foot three inch right handed pitcher from Elmira, New York. He attended Horseheads High School.

"I am thrilled Sam has decided to chose Indiana Wesleyan," said IWU head coach Chad Newhard. "He has a very projectable frame which leads me to believe he will get better throughout his career at Indiana Wesleyan."

Lewis is the eighth signee for Indiana Wesleyan head coach Chad Newhard for the 2010 season.
