Arick Armington of Elkhart Christian Academy has accepted an offer to continue his academic studies and baseball career at Indiana Wesleyan University.

In 21 games for the Elkhart Christian Eagles this spring, Armington hit over .400 with 20 runs scored and a school record 28 RBIs, including 3 home runs. Armington played infield and outfield for Elkhart Christian as well as pitched and is expected to compete for playing time in all of those areas for Indiana Wesleyan.

Armington received Elkhart Christian's Offensive Player of the Year award during his senior season. Armington also has received an academic scholarship from IWU and graduated from Elkhart Christian with high academic honors.
