ELASH, Ill. -- Indiana Wesleyan University women’s cross country brought a close to their 2016 season on Saturday with a 25th place finish at the NAIA National Championship held in Elash, Illinois. All five Wildcats had times of 19:32 or better and were led by Sarah McBeath in 63rd place with a time of 18:23.

 

MARION, Ind. -- Senior Sarah McBeath claimed the Crossroads League Women’s Cross Country individual championship on Saturday while the team finished as runner-up. McBeath ran a new PR with a time of 18:05 and qualified for the NAIA championship meet while the Wildcats await word on whether the team will earn an at-large selection to the meet.

 

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Indiana Wesleyan University women’s cross country earned fifth place at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The meet is one of the largest in the NAIA and featured six NAIA Top-25 teams, including three teams in the top-12. Sarah McBeath was stellar as she place in the top-10.

 

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- No. 19 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s cross country earned a fifth place finish at the Bethel Invitational that featured seven teams with points in the NAIA Top-25 Poll. The Wildcats’ top-five averaged a time of 19:20 on the 5,000-meter course.
