MARION, Ind. -- Erika Isham (SR/Tekonsha, Mich.), Kelsey Key (JR/Anderson, Ind.), Michelle King (SR/Lakeland, Fla.), and Haley Woodruff (JR/Evansville, Ind.) represent Indiana Wesleyan University women’s basketball as NAIA Scholar-Athletes in a release by the national office.

 

MARION, Ind. -- The NAIA national office released its postseason awards on Thursday. Kelsey Key (JR/Anderson, Ind.) represented Indiana Wesleyan University women’s basketball as she was voted to the NAIA Division II All-American Third Team.

 

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- The high-octane offense of No. 4 Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) found its stride in the fourth quarter as they overcame a 16 point deficit to shock No. 14 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s basketball 86-84 in the NAIA DII National Championship Round of 16. IWU led 63-47 after three quarters but ONU outscored IWU 39-21 in the fourth quarter.

 

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Jessica Brown (SR/Greenfield, Ind.) scored a career-high 21 points -- including 19 in the second half -- to lead No. 14 Indiana Wesleyan University to a 68-58 come-from-behind victory over No. 23 Dickinson State (N.D.) in the 2016 NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship First Round. DSU held a 40-25 third quarter lead before IWU closed out the game on a 43-18 run.
